First picture.

This weekend Alissa noticed some spotting. We remembered from our doctor's visit that he wanted to know if anything like that happened so we eventually gave him a call. He told us to come into his office Monday morning and we'd have a pelvic ultrasound done.

Right away we could see the baby and the heart beating. So it is official, there is really a baby in there (although it looks more like a shrimp). The technician measured the baby to be 7 weeks 6 days, which was two days ahead of what the doctor told us...we still have to keep his date, but inside we know the truth. We'll keep everyone posted.
